Use the field glasses and look about as you go. Granted I don't hunt other reserves besides LL's or Medved.īut I'm sure slow and easy applies to them too. I've killed 100 animals if I walk or crouch along the way across the map(s). Originally posted by cbrrrman:if you walk too fast you don't see the wild life around you. Wouldnt have kill the game to add an keybind that make us actually sprint on a short distance. Would have loved a key to actually sprint or something.ĭodging buffalo isnt a problem, but dodging a lion is impossible. it feel like we didnt run but actually walk fast with military style walking. only problem for me is that we move too slowly imho. It's a bit of a slog but worthit in the long run. It's a great way to give your maps an early boost and have a good amount of need zones by the time all the outposts/lookouts are discovered. Although most of these locations are less than that distance from the next closest. Although I do have a rule that any travel over 1.5km I use the atv to get to 1.5km away and then walk the rest, since 1.5km isn't very far even at walking pace. You find more need zones that way which helps out later on. I actually walk most of the map from outpost to outpost and lookout to lookout. Can't imagine walking 100+ miles at a time on a new reserve map. ![]() ![]() I use em to setup tents in advance of a hunt, and initial scouting of POI's so not too concerned with noise in that respect.
